I have no idea what's up with this. Over the past year, I've been seeing turkeys around the Twin Cities. They mostly hang out in parks, but once in a while you'll see them near a busy highway looking confused. They always look confused though.
When I saw two of them tearing up the boulevard across the street from my house, I thought that I'd try to sneak up on them and get a picture. Yeah, right. They seemed to think that it was dinner time. For them.
